Ancho L is a mild chile that is 4 to 6 inches long and 2.5 to 3 inches wide. Pods have medium thick flesh. Matures from dark green to red. Plants grow between 36 to 42 inches tall. Used for Mexican cuisine, mole, powder, roasting and stuffing.
